Anwendungen

Platinum rhodium wire is used as a catalyst in preparation of nitric acid and in rayon spinnerets. It is used as a device for measuring high temperatures. It serves as a catalyst in the oxidation of the ammonia by atmospheric oxygen to produce nitric oxide, through Haber process.

Bemerkungen

Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
