Anwendungen

2,3,5-Triphenyl-2H-tetrazolium chloride is used as a redox indicator. It is also used in biochemical experiments, especially to indicate cellular respiration. It is employed in autopsy pathology to assist identification of post-mortem myocardial infarctions.

Hygroscopic. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
