Anwendungen

Deoxyribonuclease I, is used in RNA preparations from tissue or bacterial cell cultures. Deoxyribonuclease is used to remove DNA from protein samples, It is also used in a study to compare several procedures for reducing RNase contamination in preparations of DNase. It is used in investigating the effect of the composition of sodium dodecyl sulfate preparations on the renaturation of enzymes after polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.

Bemerkungen

Minimum 2,000 units per mg protein. One unit causes an increase in absorbance at 260nm of 0.001 per minute per ml at 25 degrees when acting upon highly polymerized DNA at pH 5.0
