Anwendungen

Glycine is used as a component of Tris-glycine and Tris-glycine-SDS running buffers for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Glycine is also a component of Towbin?s transfer buffer for Western blots. Inhibitory neurotransmitter in spinal cord, allosteric regulator of NMDA receptors.
