Fibronectin is a major cell surface glycoprotein and is also present in blood plasma. It is used to facilitate the attachment of cells to a variety of surfaces and to maintain cells in low serum conditions. It is also used in cell culture and it can be used with epithelial cells, mesenchymal cells, neuronal cells, fibroblasts, neural crest cells, endothelial cells, in cell seeding , neuronal differentiation murine embroyonic stem cell line (CCE) culture, in staining of cell layers for membrane type-1 matrix metalloproteinase and induction of endothelial cell differentiation. This compound is coated on cultured endothelial cells for the induction of its differention and useful in cell migration studies.


Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents and heat.
