cAMP Dependent Protein Kinase Inhibitor (PKI 5-24) acts as inhibitor of c-AMP-dependent protein kinase These proteins bind to the catalytic subunit of cyclic-AMP dependent protein kinase, displacing the regulatory subunit and inhibiting phosphorylating activity. The cyclic-AMP binding capacity of the regulatory subunit is enhanced.
