Anwendungen

4-Chloro-2-butyn-1-ol is used as a precursor to prepare optically active secondary 2,3-allenols by reacting with the corresponding Grignard reagents in presence of CUCN as catalyst. It is utilized as an intermediate in organic synthesis.
