Applications

A perchlorate oxidizing agent. Rubidium perchlorate as chosen because its precipitation provides an excellent separation from strontium and since it is also an accepted weighing form for rubidium.

Notes

Hygroscopic. Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store away from sulfur, aluminum and its alloys, magnesium, strong reducing agents, flammable substances, organic materials, metal powders.
