Applications

Titrant in complexometric titrationsLead(II) perchlorate trihydrate is used in the preparation of calix[4]arene thioamides and macrocyclic lead(II) complexes. It is involved in the protonation of the pyridyl group on interaction with pyridyldithiafulvene ligands.
