Applications

Barium perchlorate, trihydrate, reagent is an extremely powerful oxidizing agent, and therefore commonly used in industry and pyrotechnics. It is also used in RPE-For analysis. It is used as an oxidizing agent, for gas drying, for ribonuclease determination and in the water analysis for sulfate titration with Thorin as indicator.

Notes

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Hygroscopic. Keep away from reducing agents, alcohols, organic materials, powdered metals. Avoid moisture and heat.
