Applications

Appropriately manufactured ammonium iodide is used in pharmaceutical industries. It is used in photographic chemicals, some medications and several chemical industries.

Notes

Hygroscopic. It should be kept in a dry tightly closed container. On exposure of air and light, it becomes brown.
