Applications

Cadmium nitrate is used in manufacturing of cadmium salts, photographic emulsions, laboratory reagent and coloring glass. It is used for porcelain and as a flash powder in photography.

Notes

Strong oxidizer. Incompatible with reducing agents, organic materials, phosphorus, and copper.
