Applications

Lithium molybdenum oxide is mainly used as an inhibitor in some types of industrial air conditioning. It is used in comparative property studies of battery systems. It has been used as a petroleum cracking catalyst.

Notes

It is hygroscopic. Incompatible to strong acids and strong bases.
