Applications
Praseodymium is used as an alloying constituent for alloys used to make permanent magnets and flints. Along with neodymium, praseodymium is used to manufacture yellow glass which can be used as eye protection (e.g. for welders).
Notes
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Storage area should be free of combustibles and ignition sources. Protect from air and moisture. It is sensitive to moisture and air. Incompatible with air, water/moisture, acids, acid chlorides, oxidizing agents and halogens.
