Applications

Tris(trimethylsilyl) phosphite is a reagent used for the mild preparation of bis(TMS) phosphonates (Arbuzow reaction). It is an important raw material and intermediate used in organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and dyestuffs.

Notes

Hygroscopic. Store in a cool dry place in tightly closed containers. Air sensitive.
