Applications

Lutetium(III) chloride, anhydrous is used as a sputtering target in the preparation of bubble memory device. It is widely used in electronic industry.

Notes

Hygroscopic. Store in a cool dry place in tightly closed containers. Incompatible with oxidizing agents. Keep away from bases, oxidizing agents, reducing agents, amines and halocarbons.
