Applications

Potassium hydroxide, 0.5N Standardized Solution is used for volumetric analysis in laboratories.

Notes

Incompatible with acids, nitro compounds, alkali metals, magnesium, copper, halogens, azides and anhydrides. Contact with aluminum, tin and zinc liberates hydrogen gas.
