Applications

It is used as a polymerization catalyst, a chlorinating agent, an intermediate in chemical synthesis, also a strong oxidizing agent.

Hygroscopic. Store under inert gas. Store in cool, dry conditions, in a well sealed containers. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong bases, water/ moisture.
