Applications

It is used to form mixed chloro-aryloxide compounds, such as [Nb(OC6H3-2,6-i-Pr2)2Cl3]2, which form pyridine or phosphine adducts with a distorted six-coordinate geometry. It is also used in the preparation of pure niobium, and as an intermediate, precursor to many other laboratory reagents.

Notes

Moisture Sensitive. Store in cool, dry conditions in a well sealed containers. Incompatible materials are strong oxidizing agents, acids, bases, amines, alcohols & water/ moisture.
