Applications

It is used as a scintillation material in certain application, as a source in the synthesis of lanthanum & its derivatives CsNaLa6Br14N2 and La3Br6N which contain rare bitetrahedral structural units..

Hygroscopic. Store under nitrogen. Store in cool, dry conditions in a well sealed containers. Incompatible materials are strong oxidizing agents, water/ moisture.
