Applications

Iodine bromide is used for bromination of and for determining iodine used. IBr is used in some types of iodometry. It is also used as a organic synthesis reagent.

Notes

Stable under recommended storage conditions. Avoid air moisture and light. Keep away from incompatible materials such as Forms shock-sensitive mixtures with certain other materials., Alcohols, Phosphorus, Sodium/sodium oxides, Potassium.
