Applications

Trifluoroacetic acid-d is employed as solvent to investigate the conformations of cyclic peptides by proton NMR spectra. It is also used to compose NMR solvent mixture to investigate the NMR spectra of high molecular weight polyesters such as polyglycolide (PG) and poly(ethylene terephthalate)and as a biochemical for proteomics research.

Notes

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Store under inert gas. It is hygroscopic in nature. Store at room temperature. Incompatible with bases, oxidizing agents and reducing agents.
