Applications

Buffer solution (pH 8) is used as a means of keeping pH at a nearly constant value in different chemical applications. Buffer solution is used in alcoholic fermentation, leather tanning, electroplating, organic synthesis, sugar and paper manufacturing.

Notes

Incompatible with water-reactive materials, acids and caustics (bases).
