Applications

Methyl 3-aminothiophene-4-carboxylate hydrochloride is used in the preparation of ethyl (4-methoxycarbonyl)thiophene-3-carbamate by reacting with carbonochloridic acid ethyl ester.

Notes

Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents and strong base.
