Applications

Polyaniline is used in chemical vapor sensors, supercapacitors and biosensors. It is also useful for manufacture of electrical conducting yarns, antistatic coatings, electromagnetic shielding, flexible electrodes and printed circuit board. Further, it is used in antistatic and ESD coatings and corrosion protection.

Conductive polymer doped with organic sulfonic acid. Conductivity: 1.0 S/cm^2 (four probe technique).Hygroscopic. Air sensitive. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
