Applications

Platinum, nominally 40%, Ruthenium, nominally 20% on carbon black acts as a catalyst used on anodes and cathodes in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) and direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC).

Notes

Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, alcohols, aluminum and aluminum alloys and sulfur.
