Nafion is used in ion exchange applications, a perfluorinated precursor resin in the sulfonyl fluoride form.


Nafion^= PFSA resin. Perfluorinated precursor resin in the sulfonyl fluoride form. Nominally 50 microns thick, standard exchange capacity 0.9meq/g. Requires further chemical treatment for use in ion exchange applications
