Applications

Silver bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide is used in the extraction of C5 - C8 linear alfa olefins using its silver salt to form room temperature ionic liquids. Further, it is utilized for the separation of olefins from paraffins.

Notes

Moisture and light sensitive. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
