Applications

Manganese(III) acetate dihydrate, is used as a mild and selective oxidizing agent. It is also a reagent used for radical cyclizations and α-keto-acetoxylation. Mangese triacetate has been used as a single electron oxidant.

Notes

Incompatible to Strong reducing agents, Powdered metals, Strong acids. Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Handle under inert gas. Protect from moisture.
