Solubility
Soluble in dilute hydrogen fluoride, concentrated hydrochloric acid and nitric acid. Insoluble in water and alcohol.

Applications

Manganese(II) fluoride is used in the production of special kinds of glass and lasers. It reacts with antimony pentafluoride in hydrofluoric acid to prepare a complex, Mn(SbF6)2.

Notes

Hygroscopic. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
