Applications

Ethylmagnesium bromide is used as grignard reagent. It is widely used in organic synthesis.

Notes

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Handle and store under inert gas. Store at room temperature. It is sensitive to heat, air and moisture. Incompatible with oxidizing agents, strong oxidizing agents and strong acids.
