Applications

It is an anaesthetic used in fish transportation. Used in preparation of oil-soluble dyes. Also used in anti-malaria drugs, in manufacturing dyes, food colorants , pharmaceuticals and pH indicators.

Notes

Air and Light Sensitive. Store in dark and away from air. Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed container. Store away from acid chlorides and acid anhydrides. It may discolor to brown upon storage.
