Applications

It is employed as a starting material for generating difluorocarbene. It is also used as a pharmaceutical and agrochemicals intermediate.

Notes

Hygroscopic. Store away from oxidizing agents, bases, active metals and water/moisture. Keep the container tightly closed and place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated condition. Store under inert gas.
