Applications

Sorbic acid, is used as a food additive and has functional use such as antimicrobial preservatives, fungistatic agents. Sorbic acid is used as a preservative and is found in food, cosmetics, and other household products. It prevents the growth of mold, yeast, and fungi. It acts as a stabilizers and antioxidants.
