Applications

It is the most common ingredient in insect repellants and is believed to work as such in that mosquitoes intensely dislike its smell. Deet is also an effective solvent and may dissolve plastics, rayon, spandex, other synthetic fabrics and painted or varnished surfaces.

Notes

Keep away from strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, strong bases, strong reducing agents. Keep ate room temperature.
