Applications

5-Bromosalicylic acid is used as organic synthesis. The cross-coupling reaction of 5-bromosalicylic acid with alkyl and aryl Grignard reagents provides a navel efficient synthesis of substituted salicylic acids.

Notes

Store in cool, dry place in a well sealed container. Store away from oxidizing agents.
