Applications

N-Phenethyl-4-piperidinone is widely used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, primarily fentanyl and its derivatives. It finds an application in the preparation of phenethyl derivative of the propanamide. It is utilized in the synthesis of l-Phenethylazacycloheptan-4-one.
