Applications

Manganese(II) acetate is used as a dye mordant and varnish drier. It is also used in fertilizers, food packaging and feed additives. Further, it serves as a desiccant, catalyst, intermediate and ion exchange agent.

Notes

Hygroscopic. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong bases and strong acids.
