Applications

2-Hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde is used in Merrified-type synthesis to deterime free amino acid groups in polymers.

Notes

Keep container tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed containers. It is sensitive to air. Store under dry inert gas. Incompatible with bases and oxidizing agents.
