Applications

5,6-Diphenyl-3-(2-pyridyl)-1,2 4-triazine is widely utilized as a reagent for the determination of sub microgram levels of iron in serum. It is also used for the simultaneous determination of iron and copper.

Notes

Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents and strong acids.
