Applications

9,10-Anthraquinone-2-sulfonic acid sodium salt hydrate forms charge-transfer complexes with 9,10-dimethoxyanthracene-2-sulfonate. It is used as a catalyst in production of alkaline pulping in the soda process. It is used as an in situ photochemical fluorescence probe.

Notes

Incompatible materials are oxidizing agents. Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
