Applications

(Boc-aminooxy)acetic acid was employed to introduce a hydroxylamine moiety into peptides; reaction with an aldehyde to an oxime. It was used in the preparation of Boc-aminooxy tetra(ethylene glycol).

Stable under recommended storage conditions. Incompatible with oxidizing agents.
