Sodium bicarbonate acts a weak buffer with that makes maintaining a pH range of 7.2 - 7.6. It is also used as a nutrient source. This solution prepared in water is used as injection in Pharmaceutical used to treat cement contamination ins hore pac drilling slurry and bentonite water based drilling fluids.It is also used as a buffer. Sodium bicarbonate will remove calcium and manganese making hard water soft.


Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Keep away fom strong acids, strong oxidizing agents.
