LDS-sample buffer (4X), reducing is used to prepare protein samples for denaturing gel electrophoresis. It is used in 1D gel electrophoresis, bis-tris gel electrophoresis, tris-acetate gel electrophoresis, protein Gel electrophoresis, proteins, expression, isolation & analysis.


This buffer contains 988mM Tris-HCl, 2.04mM EDTA, 8% LDS, 40% glycerol, 0.88% Coomassie blue, and 0.7mM phenol red, and 8% mercaptoethanol at pH 7.5.
