Applications

Collagenase, Type I, Clostridium histolyticum is used as a powder and solvent injection kit for the treatment of dupuytren's contracture.

Notes

Minimum 125 units per mg protein. One unit releases one micromole of L-leucine equivalents from collagen in 5 hours at 37 degrees and pH 7.5Hygroscopic. Stable at normal temperatures and pressures.
