Applications

Tween 20 washing buffer, 0.5% in PBS (10X) is used as a wash solution for western blot membranes and microtiter plate wells in ELISA assays. It acts as a pH stabilizer in optimal formulation, salts and detergents designed to effectively remove excess material from membranes. It finds application as laboratory detergents as well as in biomedical experiments.

Notes

Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
