Nerve Growth Factor, 2.5S NGF, is isolated from mouse submaxillary glands. It is purified by a modification of the method of Bocchini and Angeletti (PNAS 64:787, 1969) to greater than 95% (PAGE). Our NGF is bioassayed in a rat pheochromocytoma cell line. 2.5S NGF is membrane filtered and packaged as a lyophilized solid.Nerve Growth Factor 2.5S, mouse submaxillary gland is used in cell culture.


Incompatible with oxidizing agents and heat.
