Chemical Properties



Useful cardiovascular research and for the study of lipid transport. Also useful in the study of LDL metabolism and its relation to cardiovascular diseases.Lipoprotein, low density, human plasma is a large protein complex that binds cell surface receptors in vertebrates and delivers cholesterol by receptor-mediated endocytosis. Further, it is evaluated for receptor binding to human skin fibroblasts. In addition to this, it is used as a cell markers and disease marker.


Supplied at 5mg/ml in 0.05M TRIS-HCl buffer, with 0.15M NaCl and 0.3mM EDTA, pH 7.4. Contains gentamicin sulfate. Aseptically packaged and sterile filtered. Store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Short shelf life: up to 3 months.
