Plays an important role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation and cell differentiation. Required for normal branching morphogenesis. May play a role in wound healing.


Briefly centrifuge prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute at 0.1-1.0mg/ml in a siliconized tube using PBS that contains a 0.1% BSA. Reconstituted solutions are stable for up to one week at 2-8°C. Stock solutions should be aliquoted and stored at -80°C. Further dilutions should be made in buffered solutions containing BSA or serum and 1 µg/ml heparin sulfate.
