Trypsin is a serine protease that specifically cleaves peptide bonds at the carboxyl side of arginine and lysine residues. This product is highly purified and suitable for proteomics applications. Trypsin can be used for peptide mapping and protein sequencing applications as it generates a reproducible cleavage pattern with a limited number of fragments. This formulation is TPCK-treated to inhibit chymotryptic acivity.
Cleaves at the carboxy side of arginine and lysine residues. For use in protein identification and characterization by LC-MS/MS. Also for de novo sequencing of unique proteins and peptide mass fingerprinting by MALDI-MS
